Mike Wallace Traded To Minnesota
Hours after acquiring Kenny Stills, the Miami Dolphins have traded wide receiver Mike Wallace to the Minnesota Vikings. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the story.
Vikings traded 5th-round pick to Miami for WR Mike Wallace and 7th-round pick, per league source.

The Dolphins are up against the salary cap after signing Ndamukong Suh to a mega contract. Jordan Cameron also appears to be the new tight end after signing a two-year deal with the team. Mike Wallace never lived up to expectations in Miami after signing a 5 year, $60 million dollar contract 2 years ago. He apparently turned down more money to join the Vikings two years ago. Minnesota apparently never lost interest after swapping late round draft picks.
Wallace now gives quarterback Teddy Bridewater a much-needed deep threat. If Cordarrelle Paterson can ever develop this could be a good core group. Young wide out Charles Johnson has also developed into a reliable target after spending numerous trips on the practice squad. If Wallace can return to his form from his days in Pittsburgh it could be a draft pick well spent.
