Last season, the Golden State Warriors were the most healthy team to make it all the way to the NBA Finals. Each series, from the first matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans to their series with the Memphis Grizzlies, their Western Conference finals matchup with the Houston Rockets and NBA Finals matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, they survived and remained healthy.
So for some reason, there’s a notion from some that the Warriors got lucky. That the Warriors made the most out of the opportunity presented to them. It’s not their fault that everyone else got hurt and other teams weren’t able to advance forward.
Doc Rivers was one person that didn’t think the Warriors were lucky but Golden State still feels some sort of way about people saying they’re lucky. Those feelings has Doc Rivers wondering why the Dubs are so ‘sensitive’ about the situation.
Following from Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times.
Doc Rivers on tiff with GS: "I’m surprised how sensitive they are about it. They are the champions, so they should just be the champions."

Doc Rivers on the war of words with the Warriors: "That’s player-player stuff. Coaches usually don’t get involved in that kind of stuff."

Rivers had one great comment last week and then, he ruined it by wondering why the Warriors are sensitive. Regardless of what Doc says, the drama between the Clippers and Warriors is still there and Doc’s most recent comments don’t help.
Draymond Green might have another ‘cool story, Glenn’ coming soon.
