With the NBA trade deadline quickly approaching, there are a copious amount of trade rumors swirling around. One player who has often been at the center of trade rumors is Los Angeles Clippers’ power forward Blake Griffin.
Griffin has always been viewed as the face and future of the Clippers’ franchise, and for good reason. However, ever since Griffin broke his right hand while punching a team employee, his future with the team has been a bit less clear. Two teams that the Clippers have reportedly discussed a Griffin trade with are the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers.
Despite previous reports, the Clippers will not trade Griffin, according to Doc Rivers during a press conference today. From Dan Woike of the OC Register:
Doc Rivers said "We're not trading Blake."

Griffin is (arguably) one of the ten best players in basketball, and the Clippers understandably won’t look to trade him unless they get an offer that they can’t refuse. His value may have dipped due to his recent incident, but he’s still a superstar.
Griffin has averaged 23.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5 assists in 30 games this season, while shooting 50.8% from the field, 35.3% from 3-point range, and 72.5% from the free throw line.
