ESPN has partnered with DJ Snake, Rick Ross and Rich Brian for the anthem that it will use throughout its promotion for the 2021-2022 college football season. Developed by ESPN and Interscope Records, “Run It” will be featured in several television commercials, digital promotions and podcast ads.
“The right music can elevate the sense of excitement for college football all season long. This energetic and unique anthem will once again set the tone for the college football season; ‘Run It’ from DJ Snake, Rick Ross & Rich Brian captures the intensity that fans, teams and players feel about the sport, and we can’t wait for them to hear it,” Curtis Friends of ESPN said.
“Over the last six years, Interscope has collaborated with ESPN to create flagship moments that celebrate the intersection of sports and music. With ‘Run It,’ which features DJ Snake, Rick Ross and Rich Brian, as this years’ college football anthem, we’re able to bring that moment to a global scale,” ESPN executive David Nieman added.
ESPN is no the only Disney property that will use “Run It” to promote its product. This fall, Marvel plans to include “Run It” on the Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings soundtrack. The Marvel blockbuster will hit theaters on September 3.
