DJ Quik who is currently promoting his new “Rosecrans” EP with Problem, made a stop by NOAH TV. While on the topic of music, Kanye’s recently released album, “The Life Of Pablo” was brought into discussion and Quik quickly shunned the greatness some may feel the album possess. Since the release of Yeezus and Kanye falling in love with Kim Kardashian, plenty have questioned his artistic talents wondering if he still had it and Quik feels he’s not making his best music anymore.
“Kanye so scared he don’t know what to do with the fuckin’ Life Of Pablo,” DJ Quik said. “Let’s just keep this all the way fuckin’ 100…Do you think it deserves all the hype though? Is this the kind of album that you would really want to go buy to listen and go home to and just [be bragging] to everybody? So, his celebrity supersedes his talent right now? Yes. Come on, he’s a Kardashian now. What the fuck?”
DJ Quik, later went on to challenge Ye to make better music. He claims that fans aren’t stupid and can see what’s going on with Ye as an artist.
