Last year the good folks at 2k Sports grabbed Pharrell up to curate what many thought would be the perfect NBA 2k soundtrack. Though Pharrell’s soundtrack had it’s upside, it didn’t last pretty long before most fans turned it off. Now 2k is trying to top last years soundtrack by grabbing three different DJ’s from three different era’s of hip-hop music. With that being said, DJ Premier, DJ Khaled and DJ Mustard are at the helm of this years soundtrack and fans can definitely look forward to a slew of hits from the three.
NBA 2k16 will be launching a month early this year on September 29th. Those who pre-order will be able to grab the game on September 25th with nice pre-order bonuses. 2k recently announced the special edition which will feature Michael Jordan as opposed to the regular edition which will have three cover athletes. 2k will also feature Spike Lee so stick around for more info that’ll start arriving very soon.
