DJ Khaled allegedly threw a temper tantrum after Father of Asahd debuted at No. 2, according to Page Six.
Page Six reports that a source close to the producer says, “he stormed into Epic with an entourage.” They continued, “he was angry and yelling. He threw a temper tantrum.”
DJ Khaled reportedly blamed his label chiefs for not “understanding streaming services and bundle deals.”
Father of Asahd placed at No. 2 after Tyler, The Creator’s IGOR, which debuted at No. 1. Father of Asahd is Khaled’s eleventh studio album, which features artists such as SZA, Meek Mill, and Buju Banton.
His team has not commented on the alleged situation.
