Friday has been full of big releases, surprise drops and much more. Leading the way, Lil’ Durk, Big Sean, A Boogie and Lil’ Wayne led the way with new music. Then, SZA came through with a surprise release of her new video. Now, DJ Khaled is here to add his two cents.
Nearly a half-hour after the expected releases arrived, DJ Khaled shared the “Popstar” video. Not only did he bring in Drake for the video, but he also brought in Justin Bieber.
The premise of the video is pretty funny actually. Unable to leave Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic, DJ Khaled challenges Drake to shoot a music video from his home. Frustrated with the request, Drake obliges and does something unexpected. He has Bieber lip-sync the lyrics instead. Somewhere in the background, King Bach plays his over the top stylist.
