DJ Kay Slay is back! After a two year layoff, the New York DJ is back with his latest project, Hip-Hop Frontline. The latest project from the popular DJ comes with features from Bun B, Dave East, Kevin Gates, Casanova, Jim Jones, Don Q and more. The project also comes with the previously released single, “I Do This On The Regular”, featuring Kevin Gates. When speaking about the record, Kay Slay said, “Kevin Gates is one of the most loyal, down to earth artists I have come across in this business.” He later added, “The fact that I shared my platforms with him when he was coming up in the game is something he respects and he shows gratitude—and I show it back!”
The project will look to live up to the success of DJ Kay Slay’s last project, The Big Brother. Complete with features from Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller and more, the project rose to the top ten of the Apple Hip-Hop charts. Only time will tell if this project will share the same level of success.
