It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally here. Fabolous first teased his collaboration with A Boogie and DJ Envy back in 2018, but it was held back for one reason or another. Two years later, the New York DJ has pulled the record out as a way to celebrate his birthday.
Together, the trio offers a smooth, light-hearted record that plays right into each artist’s sweet spot. Fabolous holds down the first verse before A Boogie comes in and dominates the second half of the song.
“Now we sittin’ in my car/’Bout to take my shot like I’m sittin’ at the bar/Shawty wanna smoke so we lit one in the car//Now we layin’ in the cut like hitman in the car/A** so fat, it barely fit into the car,” Fabolous raps.
“And if I ever disrespected you/Apologies, I just can be a little skeptical/I never mean to be OD and I be stressed with you/I just be tryna OD when I have sex with you,” A Boogie raps on the second verse.
