The Flint, Michigan, native, Dizzy Wright, has long been one of the most underrated lyricists of today’s generation. Since being a part of the 2013 XXL Freshman Class with the likes of Logic, Schoolboy Q and Travi$ Scott, the rapper has been consistently releasing projects like The Growing Process and State of Mind. Now based in Las Vegas, The Growing Process emcee is back to prove that he belongs. In an interview with XXL Magazine, Wright said, “[Fans] can expect a very polished Dizzy Wright. I’m trying new things and finding better ways to get my point across with the perfect production for the summer. I think my versatility will really highlight how creative I can really be. Not to mention the bars are definitely there.”
Today, the Las Vegas based artist is back to give fans the most polished version of himself. Dizzy Wright’s Don’t Tell Me It Can’t Be Done is a seven track complete with features from Jazz Lazer, Don Rich, Kid Ink and his XXL Freshman classmate, Logic. On tracks like “Dope Talent”, Dizzy Wright raps, “I used to think I didn’t have it/But I never give up on a challenge/You say I can’t do it, I go out and do it/I do what I want, don’t ever get it backwards/You must been misinformed/I’ve been active and animated/Got the cameras waiting/I love myself just like I am/No transformations, I’ve been patient/Flying right under your radar/If you boss up you cannot be laid off.”
