The Danish brand Wood Wood took Disney’s Mickey Mouse figure as the main inspiration for their men’s and women’s wear collection. According to the Wood Wood designer Karl Oskar Olsen they copied black and white Mickey Mouse from the old cartoons form the Twenties and Thirties. In this 15-piece collection you can see Mickey plastered on every piece either stretched, multiplied or distorted, but not too much to make him unrecognizable. So if you want your knitted bomber, pencil skirt, baseball cap, woolen beanie, blouse and tote bag print-bombed by Mickey, this Wood Wood collection is everything you need to look out for. The Disney x Wood Wood Collection with Mickey Mouse will pre-release October 20th exclusively in Colette in Paris and October 27th in the Wood Wood webstore. On November 3rd 2014 it will launch in selected retailers worldwide including Liberty (UK), mytheresa.com (Germany), SPRMKT (The Netherlands), Good Hood (UK) and all Wood Wood stores.
