Disney has announced ‘Frozen’ will be getting a sequel but not in a movie, as a book series.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Random House will pick up where the film left off and delve more into the world of Frozen.
The first two books titled Anna & Elsa #1: All Hail the Queen and Anna & Elsa #2: Memory and Magic will hit book shelves on January 6, 2015 with two more books following later that year. The publishing company plans to release 3-4 books a year.
‘Frozen’ already has the distinction as the highest grossing animated film of all time with a global haul of $1.2 BILLION and sits as the 5th highest grossing movie ever.
Disney also has a musical in production and will include characters into the ABC smash TV show ‘Once Upon A Time’.
