Ladies and gentlemen, Dipset is back!
It has been announced that The Diplomats are reuniting for a performance during Spotify’s ‘RapCaviar Live’ concert series, which is in partnership with Live Nation Urban. For all of us who were fortunate enough to be outside for Dipset’s run in the early 2000s, this is exciting news. The show will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, Tuesday, November 21.
If you remember, there was supposed to be a Diplomats reunion back in 2010. For one reason or another, it never fully materialized. This appearance will mark the first time the crew has performed together since 2013, which was the tenth anniversary of the hood classic, Diplomatic Immunity.
RapCaviar Live is a new 6 city hip-hop tour that hits cities like Chicago, L.A., Houston, and Toronto. The New York show is still awaiting the acts to be finalized, but the A$AP Mob are already confirmed. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Oct. 20 at 10:00 a.m on Ticketmaster.
If you’re in New York around this time, I highly recommend not missing this one. I’m actually jealous that I won’t be there. The energy in the building is guaranteed to be crazy, especially when they play ‘I Really Mean It.’
Stay tuned for more updates on who else will be performing at RapCaviar Live.
