2024 Top 65 Recruit and Top 15 Shooting Guard Dink Pate has signed a two-year deal with the NBA G League Ignite program. Pate is a fast rising star in the 2024 recruiting class and is already a top 25 recruit on some ranking websites. While it was too early for official visits, the shooting guard did hold offers from programs likethe Georgetown Hoyas, UFC Knights, Alabama Crimson Tide, and several other good college basketball programs. The four-star prospect will look to improve his skill in the G League for two seasons before he declares for the 2025 NBA Draft.

Dink Pate is currently ranked as the 64th overall recruit and 13th shooting guard on the 2024 composite ranking list for college basketball recruits. With him not going to college, the programs that were hoping to add him will be disappointed to not have a possible “one and done” guard. Pate certainly has the talent to be a first-round selection in the 2025 NBA Draft. The NBA G League Ignite program has already put plenty of talent into the NBA. It is firmly establishing itself as a legitimate path to get into the NBA via different spots in the NBA Draft.
