Dick Vitale attempted to return to the booth this season, but after some games, he was forced to withdraw for the season. His treatment will continue and he still holds out hope that he will be able to return to the booth next season to call college basketball games. College basketball games on ESPN just don’t feel the same without the iconic legend’s voice lending his talent to the game.
