The Saints have just added another weapon to their already explosive team with the signing of Dez Bryant. Bryant was a perennial All-Pro in his time with Dallas but his time with the Cowboys came to an end over this past offseason.
After a workout with the Saints, it appears Bryant is inking a deal through the end of the season with a title contender in New Orleans.
Following comes from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Back in the NFL: The #Saints are signing free agent WR Dez Bryant to a 1-year deal, sources tell me and @SlaterNFL. His marathon wait has ended with a landing spot on a playoff team.

Dez Bryant’s deal with the Saints is for one year, through end of this season, per source. He wanted to prove what he can do and become a free agent again. And he gets to do it for a contender, which also was important to him.

His chemistry with Dak Prescott was not strong, that along with the fact that he is getting older and still wants to be paid like a top-five receiver. Although Bryant hasn’t been the dominant force he once was, he can still bring a veteran presence to the locker room already headlined by superstar Drew Brees. Lining up alongside Michael Thomas on the opposite side with the power New Orleans possesses in the backfield could be the recipe for a potentially strong comeback for Bryant.
