Booker’s ability to trash talk with the best of them is understood for those who pay attention to the NBA and he spoke a little bit about this ability according to Nubyjas Wilborn of Sporting News;
“I don’t start it, but I finish it. They give me grief for being light-skinned, then I give ’em the blues with these buckets,”
“I try to let my game do the talking, but I’m always ready with the with the comeback. Some of these dudes assume because my pops played and I’m light that I’m soft and I’m here to let ’em know that I’m not. I try to laugh it off when I can.”
If the first statement was any indication of the things he says on the court then it is easy to co-sign Booker trash talking in every single NBA game. Also, dropping 70 points something only 5 other NBA players have ever done while being just 20 years old also gives you a little wiggle room that most other young NBA players don’t have.
