The 2015 draft class is the gift that keeps on giving. Among the talented young players to come out of that class is Devin Booker. The Suns’ shooting guard has been promising in his first two seasons, leaving many to believe he is a future star in the making.
Well, the Suns are certainly treating him that way. With the game on the line against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, Phoenix isolated the sophomore and let him go to work.
Booker delivered with a bank shot at the buzzer to send the Kings home with a loss.

Sure, the bank shot is kind of lucky. But when you’re getting your team a win like that, it doesn’t matter how you do it. And it doesn’t seem like his teammates care:
Game winner!!!!!! I see u @DevinBook !!!!!!!

This is just another example of how good Devin Booker has been in his short time in the NBA. He is averaging just short of 21 points per game this season, albeit on sub-par efficiency. The buzzer-beater gets his team another win but it doesn’t go nearly far enough to describe his potential.
