Desiigner has been in the headlines a lot lately. Earlier this week, the New York native dropped a new single called “Finesse”. Later in the week, he continued his run with an Instagram Live session that produced a number of conversations within Hip-Hop.
While on Instagram Live, Desiigner voiced his frustrations with G.O.O.D Music. He stated, “I had signed to Kanye West — y’all n*ggas think he’s a genius. Y’all think that n*ggas shit. But to me, nigga, that nigga’s crazy, nigga. To me, nigga, I’ve been doing this shit myself.” He also said, “To me n*gga, I brought G.O.O.D. Music back, n*gga, and everybody know that.” He ended by saying, “Y’all people are mad ungrateful. Y’all are ungrateful for the music I gave y’all. Y’all mad ungrateful bro.”
Tonight, Desiigner continued to remain active with the release of new music. Earlier today, Desiigner dropped a new record called “Toot”. He also added that he would be making a shift in strategy. The G.O.O.D Music MC let his fans know that all of his music going forward will be released on Soundcloud. It’s unclear if that will cause issues with his label, but we’ll see how this goes.
