Derrick Rose Says Bulls’ Struggles Are “F***ing Irritating”
Something isn’t right with the Chicago Bulls, and Derrick Rose knows it.
The Bulls have lost six of their last eight games, including a blowout loss at Cleveland on Monday night. Injuries to Joakim Noah and Mike Dunleavy have been a factor, but it’s also the general effort and tenacity of Tom Thibodeau’s team that has Rose and others at somewhat of a loss.
Rose’s comments after Monday night’s loss, via Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago:
Derrick Rose: “Everybody has to be on the same page, until then we’re going to continue to get our ass kicked.”

Rose — Who isn’t on the same page?: “It’s just the whole team. Not communicating when we’re on the floor to one another. Everybody’s quiet”

Rose: “We’ve got to give a better effort. It seems like we’re not even competing and it’s f***ing irritating.” — Nick Friedell (@NickFriedell) January 20, 2015
Rose has said that he feels this team can win it all. The argument is concrete when you look at the make up of the Bulls’ roster, but not so much when you look at their lapses of effort, particularly on the defensive end. If they are to reach that true championship potential again, they need to find that intensity again.
Rose said this was the most frustrated he has seen his team over the past few years. Not used to seeing the Bulls play so lifeless at times.

Thibs: “We got to decide when enough’s enough. The way we’re playing is not acceptable so we have to change it.”
