The Chicago Bulls have been on a roll recently. Derrick Rose has found a balance and is playing games with a great output. And because Rose is chaining games together it means that the whole team can excel and boy are they excelling. Jimmy Butler is dropping 30 points on a regular basis. Taj Gibson is a rebounding savage. Pau and Noah are doing what they do. Chicago can do no wrong at the moment.
With his new found confidence. Derrick Rose has the upmost optimism for Chicago’s title hopes according to ESPN.com.
“I think we can,” Rose said before Monday’s shootaround. “I don’t want to jinx ourselves, but I think we can really make a run for this [championship] this year. But it just takes focus, discipline, and we got to sacrifice a little bit.”
“I think we’re moving in the right, the last 10 games, we’re moving in right direction,” Thibodeau said. “I think [we’re] playing strong on both sides of the ball. We’re getting a lot of contributions from different people. And it’s been good, but we have to be able to sustain it and keep building.“
I had Chicago to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. And I’ve never been more confident of that. If Jimmy Butler carries on with this. He’ll have the Most Improved Player award locked up before the All-Star Weekend.
And the fact that they have a coach in Tom Thibodeau that never settles. That held up when they were a Playoff team without Rose. And it’ll hold up when the Playoffs roll round next year.
