The Playoffs have begun! Oh yes all is well in the NBA. Nothing like the start of the Playoffs to get you in the mood. And what a first day we had. All teams were putting in 110% and you could clearly see it. That’s why we love the Playoffs. A great moment out of all the great moments yesterday was the postseason return for one Derrick Rose. Playing very well tallying up a 23 point, 7 assist game, leading Chicago to win Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
After the game it was interesting to see what Rose thought about the postseason return. And to him. It felt good.
“It felt good,” Rose said of his playoff return. “It felt normal. I’m grateful to be playing again, playing with my teammates that I have right now. They’re allowing me to play the way that I normally play, and it’s an honor, man. I’m really fortunate because I think anywhere else it wouldn’t be the same, and they’re giving me motivation. They’re pushing me, and it feels good.“
Game 1, check. Three more wins and it’s off to the second round. If the duo of Rose and Butler do what they did last night. I can’t see Milwaukee winning a game. But anything can happen in the Playoffs. Another reason why we love it.
