Deron Williams has narrowed his potential destination to two teams, the Brooklyn Nets and the Dallas Mavericks. According to reports, Williams has instructed his agent to inform teams that he intends to re-sign with the Nets, or move back to his hometown to play for the Mavs. The Nets, who traded for D.Will in February 2011, can offer the All-Star one more year, and almost $25 million more than Dallas can.
Williams is said to be intrigued by Mavs owner Mark Cuban’s willingness to spend money to ensure his team remains a title contender.
