The Dallas Mavericks will play game three –their first home game of the series– tonight vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the series tied 1-1, tonight could have massive implications in terms of momentum for the remainder of the series. Unfortunately, the Mavs will be missing their point guard. From Tim MacMahon of ESPN:
Deron Williams says he isn't playing tonight. He was in excruciating pain after his hot start in Game 2.

That is definitely not good news for the Mavs. On the bright side, backup point guards J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton have both been serviceable(dare I say good?) lately. Another piece of good news: Power Forward David Lee will return to the hardwood tonight. From MacMahon once again:
David Lee will play for the Mavs after missing the first two games of the series due to a partially torn plantar… https://t.co/I698kKmKIY

Lee closed out his season superbly after being released by the Boston Celtics and signed by Dallas. As a Maverick, he averaged 8.5 points and 7 rebounds in just 17.3 minutes per game while shooting an incredible 63.6% from the field.
The Mavs will have their hands full tonight. They did well to take a game in OKC(albeit a very close one), in a series that they weren’t expected to compete in.
