This game was a perfect example of how rebounds can win you a game. With the Nuggets 55 to the Lakers’ 47 it’s a perfect reason why rebounds are essential to winning a game… And Ty Lawson getting 10 of them was a turning point I guess…
But the Lakers put up a fight even though they were heavily outmatched in the big man department. Pau had 13 points but only 4 rebounds, that’s a reoccurring theme… Williams 5, Hill 5, even Steve Nash had 5. The only big man that had a decent game in the rebound department was Sacre with 8. But on the plus side Xavier Henry did well.
On the winning side they managed to cover all angles, rebounds, assists, points.
Next up for Denver is… The Lakers again. The rematch is on Tuesday. Lets see how the Lakers respond…
