Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schroder has become a little bit of a trash-talker in his current series against the Washington Wizards. He had an issue with Paul Pierce’s game-winning shot after game 3 calling it ‘a lucky shot’. Now it appears that the German skateboarding point guard now has an issue with the starting point guard of the Wizards, John Wall.
Wall returned to the Wizards after he suffered 5 broken bones in his hand and wrist when he attempted to brace his fall late in the Game 1 Wizards win. Schröder was well aware of this and when Wall returned for Game 5 to take on the Hawks, there was some concern about Wall’s hand being a target by his opponents.
According to Wall, that concern was real.
Following from Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post.
Wall said wrist/hand got hit a couple times: "Then Dennis Schroder told Kent Bazemore to smack me. And I was like, ‘You come smack it.’"

Wall & Schroder have had a little feud going back to the regular season. Wall said Schroder started talking trash randomly in 1 game in ATL.

Dennis Schroder telling his teammate Kent Bazemore to smack John Wall’s hand, well that’s just not the safest thing to do. It appears a new side of Schröder has come to the forefront. An ‘Evil Schroder’ is going to be the new threat for John Wall’s hand. While Wall didn’t receive any intentional content, look for game 6 to possibly have that same undertone of the German point guard directing his teammates to attack a weakness of the Wizards. That’s what a point guard is supposed to do after all but when attacking a teams weakness being a guys injured hand, that’s just horrible.
