Steve Kerr as the Golden State Warriors as the top team in the compettive western conference this season with a 24-5 record. The first year caoch has has a 16 game win streak already on his resume for his young coaching career.
Despite all of that, Kerr’s former teammate Dennis Rodman isn’t impressed with the job the former sharp shooter is doing in Northern California.
Rodman was asked if he ever had the impression that Steve Kerr would make a good coach one day to where he replied, “Kerr ain’t coachin sh-t.”
Granted the Warriors former coach Mark Jackson led the team to multiple 50 win seasons and also had the likes of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, David Lee etc. The biggest surpirse this season has been the emergence of Draymond Green. Whether that is credit to Kerr’s coaching or not who really knows?
Rodman would later go onto say he was joking and that Kerr is “a cool dude” and they “have cigars together.” Kerr responded to this by saying Rodman’s statement was “pretty accurate” so take this how you see it.
