DeMarcus Cousins tenure with the New Orleans Pelicans so far in the final stretch of the season has been less than successful. The all-star big man is putting up numbers as expected, but the Pelicans are just 2-6 during his time there and have only won once when he played. He was suspended for their game against the Pistons on March 1 for an accumulation of 18 technical fouls, the second time he’s been suspended this season for accumulating too many technicals. Now it appears his aggressive ways didn’t stay in Sacramento.
On Thursday afternoon the NBA fined Cousins $50,000 for inappropriate language toward fans in two separate incidents.

On both occasions, which you can see here and here, Cousins was clearly being heckled by fans. Also, if you do a little research into these two separate people getting into an incident with Cousins, it’s clearly nothing more than just to share it on social media and get some jokes going and have sites pick up their content. People are just trying to be viral for an extra 15 seconds. It’s a horrible thing to do but Cousins also has to do his best to keep himself in check.
Damian Lillard expressed his support for Cousins noting that he too hears some crazy things from fans.
Boogie got fined 50k ? For saying something back to a fan? Smh I done had some wild stuff said to me out there…. That's a lot of bread
