Oh good! The Sacramento Kings are still dysfunctional. That’s great to see. There was a point there where things died down, the Kings were chugging along, being in the dreaded “mediocre zone” where they’re not good, but not the worst. Never settle in the mediocre zone.
But like most Sacramento Kings stories, they’re all coming at once. In a space of a week we’re getting DeMarcus Cousins and George Karl beef again, Karl is actually getting some cancer related treatment, so not the best time to bring this up. But DeMarcus Cousins does it anyway, according to Yahoo! Sports George Karl has apparently pushed for DeMarcus Cousins to be suspended.
Sources close to Cousins told Yahoo Sports there is a belief that Karl has pushed several times for the Kings’ star player to be suspended.
Alright. First of all, why? Why, of all the players, you want the best one gone? Because he’s ‘uncoachable’? Miss me with that.
Secondly. How would the Kings go about that? Plant some PED’s in Cousins’ locker room? They would need a reason to suspend him. Saying ‘I don’t like him’ won’t work.
Also, what if DMC is talking out of his rear end? Are Yahoo! making up stories? No, there are too many holes here. DeMarcus Cousins barked at the coach and got suspended for it. Don’t diss the coach.
