DeMarcus Cousins is one of the most intriguing talents the NBA has in their ranks. Boogie often lands at the top of lists when you talk about top big men in the Association. But there’s another part that comes with DeMarcus Cousins, his sometimes outlandish antics both on and off the court.
Yesterday, Cousins received a ‘significant fine’ from the Kings and also issued a statement stemming from a video that came out and showed Cousins attacking different members of the media. Last night he managed to hit both parts of those realms when he dropped 55 points on the Portland Trail Blazers but also was ejected and then un-ejected all in a matter of minutes. So you could say his Tuesday didn’t lack drama.
Cousins big double nickel game came on a pretty efficient stat line. He shot 17-28 from the field, 16-17 from the free throw line, 5-8 from three-point range and also grabbed 13 rebounds. A straight up ridiculous line from the All-Star big man.
But Cousins night almost came to an early end after he appeared to spit out his mouthpiece towards the Portland Trail Blazers bench. Cousins got ejected, but then he was able to return. It was overall just an odd scene. You be the judge of what happened.

Following the Kings win over the Blazers, Cousins was heated and just went on a huge rant during his postgame interview. Boogie simply went off on the officials and one particular Blazers big man.
The drama between Boogie and Meyers Leonard continues, and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the two mix it up this year.
