Demarco Murray set a new record today by rushing for over 100 yards in his 7th game of the season. The previous record was held by none other than Jim Brown who started his season by rushing for over 100 yards in 6 games.
While there are some concerns about Murray’s workload it should be taken into account that he has the most yards before contact. A large part of his success is the massive offensive line Dallas possesses.
At this rate, Murray has a chance to challenge Eric Dickerson’s rushing record of 2,105 yards in a season and he continues to be the favorite in this year’s MVP race, especially after Phillip Rivers’ second loss of the season.
