Delonte West has been suspended by the Dallas Mavericks for conduct detrimental to the team according to coach Rick Carlisle. The banishment stems from an incident that occurred in the Dallas locker room following the team’s preseason win against Texan rival, the Houston Rockets, on Monday night.
Although the franchise has not disclosed the actual reasoning behind the suspension, nor the length of the ban, West took to Twitter following the incident and tweeted : “Sorry moma…” and “I showed off on ur birthday again…”
The tweets have now been deleted.
West was diagnosed with having bipolar disorder a few years ago.
