An emotional Delonte West has taken to Twitter to address his second suspension from the Dallas Mavericks in the last fortnight. West was allegedly banned from the team for an incident stemming from two other teammates in the locker room on Wednesday night. The player says he’s been wrongly accused of wrong doing.
“There was an argument between two teammates in the locker room last night that didn’t involve me,” said West, who had two points, one assist and three turnovers in 21 minutes against the Thunder. “Somehow I’m being blamed for it. I had nothing to do with it. I don’t know what’s going on.”
The Mavs issued a statement through resident of basketball operations Donnie Nelson saying, that West had been suspended ” for conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension is effective immediately and no other statements will be issued.”
