Marvel & Netflix’s ‘The Defenders’ is expected to have a large presence at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego. Though the event is set to kick off in a couple hours, it didn’t stop Marvel & Netflix from throwing down a new international trailer for the show ahead of the convention. The trailer is easily the best one yet for ‘The Defenders’ and heavily features the man himself, Stan Lee. Stan Lee narrates the action in the trailer from the perspective of a moving car, driving around his native New York. As the car drives around the city Lee encounters various locations in which the neighborhood heroes are actively engaged in their duties. The presentation and execution of the trailer are pure genius and it’s hard to believe that they won’t show this during ‘The Defenders‘ panel at SDCC. Be sure to stick around until the end of the trailer, as it also includes a post credits clip of a very infamous man dressed in black.
‘The Defenders’ is set to debut on August 18th. We’ve attached the trailer and official synopsis below.
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.” – Courtesy of Marvel and Netflix
