The 2016 NBA playoffs are near which means the end of the 2015-16 regular season is here. With the end of the regular season comes the great debates over who deserves which honors and we took the time to give you some of those winners by selecting the 2016 NBA MVP, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the year and even the Most Improved Player.
With our selections for the 2016 All-NBA teams already made and locked in, the Def Pen Sports team voted on the 2016 NBA All-Defensive teams with some no brainers on the first squad. Draymond Green and Kawhi Leonard are the leading candidates for the Defensive Player of the Year award but there are some smaller name guys who played well above what their statline said on a nightly basis.
