The NBA draft will always will be about finding steals or valuable players, and looking back at the 2013 edition of the Draft Class that formula certainly not change. Or did it?The capacity in this draft class was not touted as having a lot of promise due to the lack of talent available. First-round picks like Rudy Gobert, Michael Carter-Williams, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trey Burke have outperformed their draft slots, and they aren’t the only ones.
The draft’s first stunner came … on the draft’s first pick. No one expected Bennett to go first. However, in these drafts, it’s all about value, and most of the valuable players were chosen later in the first round, and some have already exceeded expectations.
Just keep in mind that like the 2014 NBA Draft First Round Re-do, we are only going to be placing players in their spots based off their talent for both the future and how well they did in their rookie seasons and afterwards.
