The 2022 NBA Trade Deadline is over and with that contending teams will move to sign players that are available after the chaos. When James Harden and Ben Simmons were traded for each other there was some fallout that went under the radar. The Brooklyn Nets waived DeAndre Bembry to clear up a roster spot and now he is signing with the Milwaukee Bucks. This team is hoping to repeat as NBA Champions and depth is always important when trying to do that.

The Eastern Conference is a tight race and despite being 35-23, the Milwaukee Bucks are currently the fifth seed. They are only two and a half games behind the one seed with plenty of games left. The team is hoping to make a push after the All-Star break and land a top-three seed heading into the 2022 NBA Playoffs. Perhaps DeAndre Bembry can provide a spark off the bench and help the team teach their goal.
This season with the Brooklyn Nets DeAndre Bembry averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. The Bucks are fully in a win-now mode after winning the 2021 NBA Finals. Repeating and winning back-to-back Championships is no easy task. The Eastern Conference is up for grabs and home-court advantage could make the difference. Bembry may only play limited minutes for the rest of the season, but depth can define teams down the stretch.
