
CBS has announced that the Daytime Emmys will be aired on television for the first time in five years. The virtual celebration will feature the small screen’s biggest and brightest stars.
“As a leader in daytime, we are thrilled to welcome back the Daytime Emmy Awards,” CBS Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events Jack Sussman said.

“Daytime television has been keeping viewers engaged and entertained for many years, so it is with great pride that we look forward to celebrating the best of the genre here on CBS,” he added.
The nominees for this celebration will be announced this week on the CBS talk show, The Talk. There is no time table as to when the network will announce a host for this year’s event. Viewers can check out the award show on June 26, 2020 at 8 p.m.
