Dax Shepard is working on a film adaptation of the classic TV series ‘CHiPs’.
According to Deadline, the actor is slated to write, direct and star in the film. He will play Officer Jon Baker while Michael Pena will play his partner Officer Frank “Ponch” Poncherello.
Shepard will preform its own stunts in the film as he is actually a professional race car and motorcycle rider.
‘CHiPs’ originally ran from 1977-1983 on NBC and followed two police officers as they patrolled the California Highways.
