David West is back!
After giving up a ton of money to chase a ring with the San Antonio Spurs last season, West has a new target in mind. The power forward will be joining the revamped and loaded Golden State Warriors for a shot at a ring. According to David Aldridge, he will be signing a veteran minimum deal, slightly more than one million dollars for a season.

West played in San Antonio last season after giving up eight figures with the Indiana Pacers. Nearing the end of his career, West has opted to continue chasing the opportunity to win a championship.
Last season, West saw a bit of a drop off in his production. Playing in only 18 minutes per game, West averaged 7.1 points and 4.0 rebounds. He did, however, enjoy a career year with his shooting, hitting 55% of his shots in San Antonio.
With the Warriors, West will be expected to play a similar role. As a backup power forward or center, the big man will be able to spread the floor with his midrange shooting. He will also be able to add some toughness inside.
This is another great move for the Warriors in free agency. David West will join Kevin Durant and Zaza Pachulia as the newest members of the Dubs.
