After playing a major role in Indiana‘s 2014 Eastern Conference Semifinal victories over Washington, David West is considering joining the team he once eliminated. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, West is either going to be going West to San Antonio, or moving towards the Eastern Shore to join the Wizards.
ESPN sources say David West is most likely to wind up with one of two teams after leaving Indiana: San Antonio or Washington

West would bring another veteran presence to the Wizards now that Paul Pierce is gone, and would add to the experienced core of San Antonio if they are unable to sign LaMarcus Aldridge. If the Spurs do end up signing Aldridge, Washington becomes an almost 100% guaranteed destination for the former Pacer to sign with.
Last season in Indiana, West averaged 11.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, .7 steals, and .7 blocks per game.
He may not be able to stretch the floor as well as Drew Gooden, but West has an amazing mid range game as well as a highly sophisticated post game. He could be a good fit with the Wizards to help the young guys grow even more than they have over the past few seasons.
