From commercial success to critical acclaim and praise from his peers, it’s impressive to see Dave reach some of the highest heights in music and entertainment by the time he was just 25 years old. With two award-winning albums and countless star-studded collaborations, it’s easy to see why he has the opportunity to go down not only in the UK, but around the world, as one of the most extraordinary acts in Hip-Hop. On Friday, October 24, 2025, the Mercury Prize winner added to his growing discography with the release of his third studio album, The Boy Who Played The Harp.
Serving as the follow-up to 2021’s We’re All Alone in This Together, The Boy Who Played The Harp finds the UK artist doing what he does best — blending braggadocious rhymes and flashy production with soulful, musical soundscapes and lyrical explorations of race, culture, social class, and politics. Along the way, he recruits the likes of Tems, James Blake, Kano, and many others to bring everything together for an album that is gaining critical acclaim in the press and on social media.
“Dave really did justice to the album,” one fan wrote. “He spoke about sexual assault, femicide, homicide, rape culture, his life, depression, love, pain, societal expectation & struggles, faith, reconciliation & many more it feels so wrong not to stan him.”
“10/10 album, I’ve heard enough. Thank you Dave,” another fan wrote.
The release of the The Boy Who Played The Harp sets the stage for Dave’s upcoming UK and Europe tour. Kicking off in February, the tour will take him through France, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands. Before it kicks off, dive into his third studio album below.
