Harlem’s own Dave East has had a wonderful 2016 as he sealed things off signing a deal with Def Jam. Salute. Looking to keep the streak going, what better way to kick off a new year than with a new entry to his ‘East Mix’ series.
Dave East has been using his East Mix series as a way to keep his fans satisfied, build up moment for his Def Jam debut album and just keeping his name relevant in this industry. That seems to continue to work in his favor so to start off 2017 East has delivered ‘What A Year’.
‘What A Year’ takes the popular D’Angelo sample that Wale used for his ‘Black is Gold’n which has prompted it to be dubbed an East Mix. Doing his thing per usual, check out ‘What A Year’ (East Mix) below.. and look for more to come from Dave East, the year just started.
