Miller was selected with the 46th overall pick in the 2012 draft after four years at Kentucky. He struggled for consistent minutes in his rookie and sophomore season with the Pelicans which led to him getting waived in December of 2014.
In February of 2015, Miller signed with Brose Bamberg in Germany and has been with the club for the past two seasons, playing in the BBL and Euroleague.
Miller has NBA size as he’s 6-foot-8 and 225-pounds. Last season, he averaged 11ppg, 3rpg and shot 41-percent from three-point range in all competitions for Bamberg.
With the Pelicans struggling to find rotation options on the cheap, Miller shows that they may be looking into overseas players to help give them depth. The Pelicans are also interested in Brad Wanamaker according to Pick, Wanamaker and Miller used to be teammates at Bamberg.
