I will be the first to tell you, when I initially pressed play on this song I was a bit skeptical because I didn’t know what to expect but like they say, never judge a book by its cover. By now if you haven’t listened to Dapa Don’s latest project, ‘FOOD 2’, the Brooklyn emcee serves up a variety of music for the ladies and the fellas to enjoy. My skepticism came from the melodic cadence heard throughout the record that is ear-capturing from the beginning.
I wasn’t sure if it would work and to be completely honest, it does.
Channeling his inner Rico Love, as I say, Dapa Don has delivered some heat to an already hot summer with ‘She Gettin To The Money’. As you should imagine prior to even listening this new record it is an ode to the ladies who are all about getting to the money, mula, chicken, dinero, however you refer to currency.
Produced by The Synasetic, ladies this is the perfect record for you. Not just you but your girls as well. From pre-gaming, getting your sexy on before a night out in the city and just feeling empowered. I’m not going to hold you but a female who gets money amongst other things is sexy, period. To attest to this, here’s what Dap had to say;
