Dante Fowler Jr was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2018, but his tenure with the Rams is now coming to a close. As reported by NFL Networks Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Fowler is signing a three-year contract to join the Atlanta Falcons worth around $48M.
#Rams free agent pass-rusher Dante Fowler is expected to sign with the #Falcons, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. A high-end pass-rusher lands in Atlanta. Coach Dan Quinn actually coached Fowler while at Florida.

Fowler, the third overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was prominent in the Rams pass rush that led them to an appearance in Super Bowl 53. By joining the Falcons, Fowler will be reunited with Head Coach Dan Quinn, who served as the Defensive Coordinator at the University of Florida during Fowler’s collegiate career.
