In a space of three days Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham has been arrested twice. Sunday was the latest arrest. Why?
Because he sent threatening messages to a woman he was living with. So threatening it “rose to a terroristic level”.
This was one day after police posted a report of alleged domestic violence between Dante and the woman (who he was living with for the past right months) choking was the specific felony.

violated a protection order by contacting her
Dante surrendered his phone and computer as part of the investigation. He remained in custody after the second arrest but as of this moment has not been charged.
The Timberwolves obviously had to say something about it and have released this statement.
The situation with Dante Cunningham is very fluid, and we continue to monitor all available information.
We reiterate that the Minnesota Timberwolves do not condone the behaviour described in the accusations. We continue to wait for the legal process to run its course and will have further comment when appropriate.
Cunningham had a court appearance Monday afternoon but it’s obvious this’ll go on for some time.
