The San Antonio Spurs are locking up all of their guys as quickly as they can. Last night they agreed to terms with former NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard on a max contract last night and now they are coming to terms with another big piece to their puzzle.
While Danny Green fielded interest from many teams, including his hometown New York Knicks, it appears he will end up returning to the Spurs to chase more championship rings.

With Green and Leonard now locked up, it appears the Spurs will now focus on working to get LaMarcus Aldridge somehow into the fold. Guys like Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili still need to be signed but what will be their price?
Danny Green being unavailable should also force some dominos to fall elsewhere with teams like the Knicks, Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks. They all had Green on their radar as quite possibly the best ‘3 and D’ guy available this summer.
Now with Green gone you can expect the market for guys like Arron Afflalo or Wesley Matthews to start heating up.
