The Denver Nuggets, once again have injury problems. And guess who’s injured? Yes you guessed it. Danilo Gallinari. Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post released the news via Twitter.
#Nuggets F Danilo Gallinari diagnosed with a meniscus tear in his right knee. He’s out indefinitely, and will need surgery.
With the top 7 of the West considered a lock for the Playoffs. That means that the last one is up for grabs. At the moment, Oklahoma City, Phoenix and New Orleans are the three teams that’ll eventually fight for 8th. Which leaves Denver being in the dreaded spot of being good enough not to be the worst, but bad enough not to get in the Playoffs.
They need to make some long term decisions because at the moment they’re looking like they’ll be stuck in NBA limbo.
